Stir yeast into half a cup of warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar and salt. Keep warm until it fills the cup. Mix flour, salt, prepared yeast, add one egg yolk, Président butter and Président Cream Kajmak. Knead medium soft dough with lukewarm milk and let it stay for about 10 minutes.
Stretch dough, not too thinly, to be about 1 cm thick. Remove the muffins with mold and arrange them on a baking sheet over the baking paper. Cover with egg white and chop a bit with scissors. Sprinkle with sesame or caraway and leave them to grow until the oven is heated.
Bake muffins at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Gather again and stretch again the remaining dough, and make muffins or sticks. This can be a great snack for children’s birthday parties, for travels, as well as to make small canapés. They are good the next day, if something remains, and they can also be frozen baked or unbaked.
Serve with Président Cream Kajmak.
